Hey!
I am going to sit down today and write a post about one of the country in East
Africa that I am personally attracted to and planning to go which is Tanzania.
| The map of Tanzania |
In
general, Tanzania is officially noted as the 13th largest country in
Africa and the 31th largest in the world. Because of the large terrain, the
geographical is hence unique where it has various kind of site. It is
mountainous and dense forested in the northeast. To the north and west, there
lies the continent’s deepest lake and known for its unique species of fish. For
the southwest region, there is a large plateau with plains and arable land
whereby in the eastern, it is hot and humid. Kind of interesting, right?
Tanzania
is a country that uses Swahili and English as its official languages, resulting
in the increasing number of tourists each year. One of the most popular places
that Tanzania offers to us is Mount Kilimanjaro. At the highest mountain of
Africa, there built the Mt Kilimanjaro National Park that is officially opened
since 1977. The Tanzania’s most visited park offers its visitors the wildlife,
awe gazing on the equator copped with snow and climbing to the top of Africa. What
makes Kilimanjaro special is the fact that it is indeed the highest volcano and
the highest freestanding mountain in the world. For those who didn’t know how
to climb, don’t be worried because it is possible to walk to the summit without
ropes or technical climbing experience, according to the lonelyplanet.com. If
you’re interested in reaching the top, seriously consider adding at least one
extra day onto the ‘standard’ climb itineraries: accepted medical advice is to
increase sleeping altitude by only 300m per day once above 3000m – which is
about one-third of the daily altitude gains above 3000m on the standard Kilimanjaro
climb-routes offered by most operators.

Next,
if you are happened to visit Tanzania, don’t forget to go to the Balloon Safari
in Serengeti National Park. Imagine floating in a hot air balloon over the
beautiful Serengeti that offers a unique perspective, great viewing and
photographic opportunities of the amazing scenery and wildlife below. This may be the most beautiful area in the world for a
balloon flight. There are no power lines, fences and few roads. The capacity is
limited making this experience a special and exclusive one. Each and every
balloon flight is different and therefore an adventure for all visitors.
Not
to forget, there is also one of the mesmerizing Indian Ocean islands that lay off
the coast of Tanzania, called Zanzibar Island. If
you are a beach or sun lover and you have a thing for snorkeling, Zanzibar is
your destination. There you will find amazing beaches, vast coral reefs,
relaxed atmosphere and seafood dishes that will make your holiday a memorable
one. Zanzibar offers scenic and pristine beaches, which makes visitors
to get comfier. The island is
warm throughout the years, making it ideal to be visited on any holidays all
through the year.
