Hey,
people! Picture above is a quote from the old man, Mark Twain who was an
American author and humorist. The words are nothing else but truth as no
one will look back fondly on a trip to the dry-cleaner. But after zip-lining
over the jungle canopies in Peru, successfully navigating the alleys of
Marrakech, the speedboat ride in New Zealand, or looking from the above of the
grazing animals in Tanzania, you will get a feel of what an active human being
is like. The need for adventure is hardwire; travel lets you tap into it.
Also,
travelling will let you meet folks from various exotic cultures that perhaps
will teach you that the way you see the world is not necessarily the exact way
anybody else sees it. You may have seen places and learnt cultures through the
mass media but it is still not enough for you to say that you are already
understand them until you go there and experience them by yourself. Who knows,
maybe you are letting yourself to be deadly wrong all this time. Seeing it for
yourself can bring a healthy dose of reality to your so-called higher thinking,
guys.
People
did ask on the benefits of travelling. Now, think about this. Do you find that
getting your daily Starbucks is interesting enough for you? If yes, you should
get some self-medication. Your life will not be as interesting as you think
until you catch yourself finding an address in downtown Tokyo, for example. Travel
is full of joy and challenges that will later educate you to be a better human.
Overcoming the challenges will give you the greatest joy of all.
